Why Give?

The Bible asks us to give in Proverbs 3:9-10, our first and our best back to God, and He will bless the rest. We return to the Lord 10% of what He’s given us because it belongs to Him.


If you’re not tithing already, a great way to start is with the Three-Month Tithe Challenge. Essentially, it’s a contract based on the promises of God in Malachi 3:10-11.

If you tithe for three months and God doesn’t hold true to His promises of blessings, we will refund 100% of your tithe.

BOLD GIVING

There are three types of financial contributors to Bold Church. Our church believes that generosity is our privilege, and we encourage you to be a part of what God is building in Silicon Valley.



Foundation Givers

Foundation Givers commit to a monthly contribution of $50 to BOLD Church. This is a great first step for people to begin giving financially to BOLD and to start taking steps towards tithing.


Concrete Givers

Concrete Givers commit to tithing - giving the first ten percent of one's income to the church. Tithing is a principle seen throughout the Bible, and it is referenced weekly during our Sunday services.


Vision Builders

BOLD Church defines generosity as going above and beyond. A Bricklayer makes a decision to go above and beyond the ten percent tithe in their financial giving.
